The records come from one branch of the Musselman family of Lancaster County, Pa. Michael Musselman (1782-1851) was a prominent Lancaster County farmer and distiller, living in West Lampeter Township. He was also a director of the Lancaster Bank and a county poor director. He had five sons, David, Jacob, John, Samuel and Isaac.
